The excise department has been continuously taking action against illegal alcohol sales in the city and alcohol brought in from other states. Under this campaign, the team carried out inspections at various premises at the officers' directive.

**Inspection at J.P. Hospitality**
According to information, the excise team, under the guidance of Excise Commissioner Ranjeet Singh and led by Assistant Commissioner Harsimrat Grewal, carried out this action. The team included Excise Inspector Manjit Singh, Sumant Mahi, Inderbir Singh, and excise police staff.

The officers first conducted a raid at J.P. Hospitality. During the investigation, the stock register was found incomplete. The team also examined the alcohol and beer stock kept on the premises. During the inspection, bottles of beer with invalid holograms were found. Additionally, bottles of used alcohol from other states were also found on the premises.

The excise department's team has recorded the statement of the relevant person. Further action has been initiated based on the information available to the department and applicable rules.
