Jalandhar Commissioner Police have arrested three accused, including Jalandhar YouTuber Mani Shoker, in a weapons-related case.
Jalandhar police commissioner’s office arrested three accused, including Jalandhar YouTuber Mani Shoker, in a weapons-related case. According to the police, five pistols and five live cartridges manufactured abroad were recovered from the accused’s possession. The police say that, based on interrogations of the accused, further information about the weapons supply and related network is being gathered.
The police identified the arrested accused as Manpreet Singh alias Mani Shoker, resident of Atti Baza village, Phillaur; Dilpreet Singh, resident of Dharm Singh Wala village, Moga district; and Mehr Singh alias Prince, resident of New Azad Nagar, Ludhiana.

According to DCP Aditya Varier, an anti-weapons operation was being conducted by the police under the leadership of Addl. DCP‑2 Madhavi Sharma. Under the supervision of S.H.O. Sub‑Inspector Balkaran Singh of Sadar police station, on 18 September the in‑charge SI Narinder Mohan of the Jandiala police outpost, together with his team, set up a roadblock at Jandiala turn.

Police said firing at the SI

The police officers present at the scene cautiously subdued both individuals. During interrogation, the person who fired identified himself as Manpreet Singh alias Mani Shoker.
The police arrested Manpreet Singh and the Scorpio driver Dilpreet Singh. According to the police, the pistol used in the firing was also recovered from the scene.
Four more pistols recovered during interrogation of Jalandhar YouTuber Mani Shoker
According to the police, after the initial arrest, Manpreet Singh alias Mani Shoker was interrogated. During the interrogation, the police allegedly recovered four additional pistols and two live cartridges.
Thus, according to the police, a total of five pistols and five live cartridges have been recovered in the entire case. The police are now working to determine where these weapons were sourced from and to whom they were intended to be supplied.
Which weapons were recovered?
According to information provided by the police, the seized weapons include a GLOCK 19 Gen4, an Austrian‑made 9×19 mm pistol. It was also reported that three cartridges and two empty cartridges were recovered.
In addition, other weapons seized include a Cugir Romania Model TT‑C, Cal. 7.62×25 mm, an unmarked pistol, and a Walther Carl Walther Waffenfabrik Ulm/DO Model PP, Cal. 9 mm P.A.K.
The police have taken the seized weapons and cartridges into custody and have begun further investigation.
