Jalandhar BJP undergoes major organizational shake‑up, Ashok Sarin Hikki announces leaders of assembly, district, and fronts.

05 NOVEMBER Jalandhar: Political activities have intensified in Punjab over the upcoming 2027 Assembly elections.

In this context, the Jalandhar BJP Urban has made major organisational appointments to strengthen its organisation. District President Ashok Sarin Hikki, after consulting with District General Secretary Davinder Bhardwaj, Deepak Telu and Yogesh Dheer, has declared the heads and co‑heads for all three Jalandhar assembly seats, heads for 17 mandals and heads for various party fronts.

Through these appointments, the BJP has allocated organisational responsibilities from the assembly level down to mandals and fronts. The party’s aim is to strengthen the organisation up to the booth level, establish better coordination among workers, and convey the central government’s welfare schemes and the party’s policies to the general public.

Ashok Sarin Hikki said – Workers are the real strength of the organisation.

District BJP President Ashok Sarin Hikki said that the BJP’s biggest strength is its hardworking and dedicated workers. The main purpose of the new appointments is to make the organisation even stronger at the grassroots level.

He said that assigning responsibilities at the assembly, mandal and front levels will establish better coordination among workers. All newly appointed officials have been instructed to discharge their duties with full sincerity and hard work and to spread the party’s ideology and the central government’s welfare policies to every household.

Heads appointed for the three Jalandhar assembly seats

The BJP has appointed separate heads and co‑heads for the Jalandhar North, Jalandhar Central and Jalandhar West assembly constituencies.

1. Jalandhar North Assembly
- Head: Davinder Bhardwaj
- Co‑heads: Rajesh Malhotra, Gurpreet Vikki and Kiran Bhagat.

2. Jalandhar Central Assembly
- Head: Deepak Telu
- Co‑heads: Rajesh Kapoor, Ashwini Bhandari and Mrs. Shalu.

3. Jalandhar West Assembly
- Head: Yogesh Dheer
- Co‑heads: Darshan Bhagat, Sunil Montu and Meenu Sharma.

Through these appointments, the responsibility of organising party activities in the three assembly areas and creating better coordination with local workers has been assigned.

Besides the assembly level, the BJP has also appointed heads for Jalandhar’s 17 mandals. These leaders have been given the responsibility to strengthen organisational activities in their respective areas and keep workers active.

Jalandhar Central Assembly mandal heads:
1. Dakodha‑Paragpur Mandal – Goldi Bhatia.
2. Rama Mandi Mandal – Sandeep Kumar.
3. Mandal No. 6 – Baljeet Prince.
4. Mandal No. 7 – Lalit Babbu.
5. Mandal No. 8 – Sanni Sharma.

Jalandhar North Assembly mandal heads:
1. Roz Park Mandal – Brajesh Sharma.
2. Maksoodaan Mandal – Manish Vij.
3. Sodl Mandal – Vishnu Joshi.
4. Kishanpura Mandal – G.K. Sony.
5. Santokpura Mandal – Jolly Bedi.
6. Bhagat Singh Kila Mohalla Mandal – Himanshu Sharma.
