Jalandhar: The naked dance of thuggery, lethal attack on AAP worker and son, damaged car

November 4, Jalandhar: In the Ramnagar area under Police Station 1, a raw display of gang activity was witnessed. A party worker and his son were attacked. In this incident, a lethal assault with a dagger injured the father and son. The injured were admitted to a civil hospital for treatment. The father sustained injuries to his head and hands. When giving information about the case, the person said they heard a noise outside the house. After that, they came out to look from the house. During that time, they were attacked with high‑velocity weapons.

During the incident, the daughter came to rescue, but she was accused of misbehaving. The victim said that even Mayor Vinay Dhir was discussed about the incident and was made aware of it. According to the victim, the windows of cars were broken during the incident. It is reported that 15 to 20 youths attacked with weapons. The victim accuses Vinay of leaving them helpless. Meanwhile, Neelam Sodhi is being accused of serious charges of an illicit relationship. The family said that the family whose cars were vandalized also reached the hospital.

The victim stated that Vinay, Ginni, Dipu, Jot, Ballu, Gandhi, Jaggi and other youths attacked the area as soon as they arrived. The victim said that the incident was captured on the CCTV camera installed there. The victim's family has called for justice from the administration regarding this incident. It is alleged that the mentioned attackers already have prior records. During this incident, the wife lay over the son and saved his life. The victim's family said that if his daughter and wife had not saved those two, they might have taken their lives as well. The incident has created an atmosphere of terror among residents of the area.
