Chandigarh/Khadoor Sahib: The Shiromani Akali Dal has taken a major step against senior leader Ravinder Singh Brahmpura of the Khadoor Sahib constituency on accusations of anti‑party activities. The party has expelled him from primary membership.

According to reports, Ravinder Singh Brahmpura had been accused of involvement in anti‑party activities for a long time. In this regard, written complaints from party workers of the Khadoor Sahib constituency had also been submitted to the party leadership.

It is said that during the Punjab Bachao rally held on 13 September at Shri Goindwal Sahib, the party leadership was also informed about the activities being carried out against the party by Ravinder Singh Brahmpura.

According to the party leadership, taking the workers’ complaints and the repeatedly emerging activities seriously, a decision has been taken to expel Ravinder Singh Brahmpura from the party’s primary membership.
