Shooting Death of ASI Harjit Singh While on Duty

According to reports, ASI Harjit Singh was posted on police duty in the Gate Hakima police station area of Amritsar. Early Friday, unknown assailants on a motorcycle opened fire on him near the Bhagtawala grain market. He was seriously injured in the attack and died after being taken to the hospital.
