After a fridge explosion, a massive fire broke out in the house, killing four members of the same family.

In Belagavi, Karnataka, amid Ganesh Chaturthi celebrations, a tragic incident has emerged. In the Chavat Gali area of the city, on Monday night a powerful explosion occurred in a refrigerator kept in a house, after which a severe fire broke out in the house. In the incident, four members of the same family died from burning, while two people were severely burned.

According to information, at the time of the incident all six members of the family were inside the house. At the time of the explosion and fire, Ganesh Chaturthi festivities were ongoing nearby. Due to loud music and fireworks, the initial explosion was mistaken for fireworks, causing a delay in rescue operations.

It is being said that the building was old and quite cramped. After the explosion in the fridge, the fire spread rapidly throughout the house and the family members were trapped inside.

In this tragic incident, Gajanan Dhamone (65), Sharda Dhamone (45), Bharti Dhamone (45) and Roshan Dhamone (21) died. Meanwhile, Priya Dhamone and Ganga Dhamone were severely burned and have been hospitalized for treatment.

The Dhamone family earned a living through labor. After the incident, mourning spread throughout the area.

As soon as the incident was reported, police arrived at the scene and began investigation. Market police have registered the case. Currently, the actual causes of the fire and the refrigerator explosion are being investigated.
