A suicide case has resurfaced at the AGI flats in Jalandhar. A 24‑year‑old woman allegedly jumped from the height of the flat and took her own life. The deceased has been identified as Jasmine, 24.

According to the information, the incident occurred in Block D of the AGI flats. The inspector of Sadar police station said that the woman jumped from a considerable height of the flat, after which she died. It is reported that the woman had completed her studies and had been struggling with mental health issues for some time.

According to the police, no statement has yet been recorded from the deceased’s family. The police have taken custody of the body and sent it for post‑mortem. Further action will be taken based on the post‑mortem report and the family’s statements.

It is noteworthy that several suicide cases have previously been reported at the AGI flats, bringing this incident back into discussion. The police are investigating the entire case.
